To see a small sample of my past commission work, please stop by the Gallery.

WEBSITE DESIGN >>
- Are you interested in an efficient, professional looking website but don’t have the time to code it yourself? Do you like the design of the ‘Code Name: Hunter’ and RCSI Publishing sites and wish you had a similar site yourself? We can help!
Both Matt and myself are available for web design consultation. We can even host your new site for you through our hosting company, Capn’Bells Design and Hosting. We specialize in one on one attention for small businesses and webcomic creators.
So, if you’re looking for a web design / hosting company who can give you personal attention and has an eye for detail, please contact us and see what we have to offer.
THE SKETCH GRAB-BAG >>
- Would you like to own a ‘Hunter’ sketch and have the fun of being surprised when it arrives? You would? Excellent!
Over the years we’ve collected many sketches from ‘Hunter’ and have filled more than a few Itoya portfolios. But sadly, these sketches are just stored away, unloved. If you’d like to offer a sketch a loving home, please drop us an email and we’ll hook you up.
Price: $10.00
Now, a few things to remember…
This is a random grab-bag. In other words, we can not guarantee what sketch you will get. Some will be pencil only. Some may be in ink. And a very few may be in full color. But, all sizes will be 8.5×11.
FULL ILLUSTRATION COMMISSIONS >>
- Commissions are available on a first come, first serve basis. The cut-off limit is three - once all three slots are full, the commissions are closed until a slot opens up. All drawings are done on smooth Bristol board and will be shipped between foam-core board to prevent folding.
The Rules…
Please check first to see if commissions are currently open. If they are, email me a good description of what you’d like me to draw - character, clothing, colors, mood, background, etc. I will then create a rough preliminary sketch. If you approve of the sketch, I will start the finished piece. I will make up to three changes during the sketch stage. Once inking has begun, that’s it. You’re stuck with it bucko. So, please be sure the sketch is what you want. Once finished, I will send you a scan of the final image. Once payment is received, the original drawing will be slipped into the mail and on its way to you.
Restrictions…
Due to copyright restrictions, I will not draw copyrighted characters unless they are of your own creation. Characters from ‘Code Name: Hunter’ are available, but Matt and myself retain all rights to the image including the right to reuse and reprint the image. Nothing too gory or too violent. No porn. Period. I can do sexy, but nothing explicit. In fact, nothing over a PG-13 rating please. I reserve the right to refuse to take a commission for whatever reason.

COMMISSIONS ARE CURRENTLY CLOSED
Copyrights to commissioned images may be purchased for an additional fee. Please email us for more information. Due to how difficult they are to ship safely, we will no longer be offering the large 14×17 pieces. Sorry.
| 9×12 | 11×14 | |
| Pencil Sketch | $10.00 | $20.00 |
| Black & White Inked | $20.00 | $40.00 |

When sending in your description please include the following information: species, gender, skin/fur color, specific markings, hair color/style, eye color, age/physical build, clothing style, mood of picture, setting/pose and any additional information you think would be useful. Character histories are not, however, necessary.
RCSI CON BADGES >>

- Are you interested in a con badge but want something a little different? Have you ever pictured yourself as an agent of RCSI? Would you like to show your love of ‘Hunter’ wherever you go?
- The computer generated RCSI ID badge and the hand drawn image are separate pieces and come together in a clear badge holder - the computer generated ID facing the front and the hand drawn image in the back.
- Various departments and divisions in RCSI are listed below and can be chosen from, including Field Agent.
- Unlike the comic, there are no restrictions on species or race. In other words, everything goes, from talking animals of all shapes to mythical beasts to even humans.
- As for the printing, we have an HP laser printer and all Photoshop work will be done at 600DPI so… it prints out quite nicely.
- First off, no porn, yiff, spooge, whatever it’s being called these days. I don’t enjoy drawing it. Not even for pay. Sorry.
- Please do not request a drawing of one of the comic characters for your badge. This is for you and your persona / fursona, not to role play as Max. He’s a fun guy, but if you do that he’ll just end up confused.
- Badges are not cameo shots or requests. In other words, just because you have a RCSI ID badge does not mean your character will show up in the comic. Sorry.
- Please, no characters copyrighted by others. I don’t care if they belong to a major corporation or the guy down the street. If the character isn’t yours, then please don’t request it.
- I reserve the right to refuse to take a commission for whatever reason.
- Please indicate clearly which name you’d like on the badge. This stops me from guessing between your real name, your character’s full name or a shortened version of either. Confusing the Darc is bad.
- Give a good description of your character - fur color, hair color, eye color, clothing, etc. Visual references are very welcome.
- Backgrounds will be drawn if you desire but please, nothing too complex. This is a 3×4 inch drawing and intricate details often are hard to squeeze into that small of a space. So please, no requests for three mages fighting ten monsters in the background. Be reasonable. If you do not describe a background I will come up with one on my own, based on what department you choose and my own whims.
- Departments? Yes. Since these are meant to resemble ID badges, you get to choose a department and division in RCSI your character would work in. Please choose from the RCSI Hierarchy and Department Divisions list which can be found here.
- Send your information to us at rcsi(AT)rcsitravel(DOT)net. Please title the message “Conbadge Commission” so we don’t accidentally lose it. Thank you.
Now’s your chance!
What do you get? This commission includes a 3×4 inch hand drawn image of your character in marker on Bristol, a computer generated RCSI ID badge, a clear badge holder and a break-away lanyard (safety first).

QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS >>
- Q: I see commissions are open and I’d like to buy one. Are there certain things you will not draw?
A: First off, we will not take commissions for characters copyrighted by others. This includes other artists as well as large corporations. The rating limit is PG-13. While Darc is willing to draw mild violence and the occasional sexy pose, she will not draw gore or porn. Darc reserves the right to refuse to take a commission for whatever reason.
Q: I bought an original art/commission from you. Can I make prints off of it?
A: No. While the piece may contain your character, Darc retains the copyright to the piece itself. If you would like to make prints of the piece, the copyrights can be purchased as well for an additional cost. If the commission involves any of the ‘Hunter’ cast, we’re afraid the copyrights are not available for sale.
Q: I hear some artists make prints from commissioned pieces. Do you?
A: While we do retain the copyrights to the image (unless you’ve purchased those rights of course) we do not make prints off of non-’Hunter’ based commission pieces. If a commission is ‘Hunter’ based, there is a chance that we may decide to make prints off of it or use the image again though, to be honest, that has yet to happen.
